Christmas was wonderful. We celebrated early, we didn't want to take our gifts down to Cedar City and Moab, so on the 23rd, we opened our presents. Garth got us a new camera, it is so awesome!!! We left for Cedar City on Christmas Eve and we were there for Christmas day. It was so nice to Garths family. Then we went to Moab on Christmas day. It was a lot of fun too. It was so great to see my parents and my brother Michael and his son Zach. I love the holiday season, time to spend with family and friends.

These last few months have been kinda crazy. But I'm excited to have the year to be over.
We were planning on going to Garth's sister in Wyoming, but my job got in the way, stupid black friday!
It has been cold the last few days. It snowed yesterday :(. But that is expected when you live in Idaho. I hope I can get used to the snow, but we will see.
I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving.

We have our new floor in!!!

I'm so happy that we have our new floor in the kitchen. I wish i could have helped with it, but I had to work. I think it looks great! We would like to thank Joe and Kaylyn for helping. It looks like a completely different house. If you would like to see more pictures of the floor, I have more on my facebook account.

New Old Experiences

Stef and I have both recently received new callings in the church. Stef was called to be the Young Womens Secretary and I was called to be the Young Mens President. We are now experiencing being teenagers from the leader perspective. There have been some fun mutual activities for both of us and we are learning a lot. It is like being a kid again at church and going to activities every week makes the week much busier than what we are used to. This last weekend I got to go on my first camping trip. We took the priests to Logan where we climbed at the Rock Haus for three hours went to dinner then played miniature golf and then set up camp at 10:30 in Green Canyon. The next day we joined the rest of the youth at the Temple and it turned out to be a great trip. At the temple all of the workers confused me for one of the boys a little annoying but also flattering. We are still both getting used to the callings and getting things figured out but we will get there. The real problem now is that we know more youth than adults in the ward. G.N

Our house is FINALLY painted!!!

It took awhile, but we finally got our house painted. About four weeks ago we got our paint, and from then and on it rained, up to last week. We were happy to finally catch a break from the rain and get it done last weekend. The plus side on the rain is that we didn't have water our lawn for a month, that was pretty sweet!
We still have some things to do on the outside, but we get it done.I'm grateful to be with the love of my life and be with him for eternity.I'm grateful to have a roof over my head.

Memorial Day Weekend

We came down to Moab for the weekend. I thought it would nice and sunny here, but it has been pretty stormy since we came down. And I bet everyone else is really upset it stormed all weekend, oh well, I LOVE the Moab rain. It is just so pretty.
On Friday when we came down, my dad was needing help with tearing out the tree in the front yard :(. That was my favorite tree growing up. But they didn't get that tree to budge, at all. We went to one of my favorite places to eat in Moab, it is called Zax, yummy!!!!
On Saturday, it was back to work for my dad and Garth on the tree, still not budging. It is going to take a lot to get it out of the ground.
We had a wedding to go to in Castle Valley. Kemrey Wells and Zane Taylor were getting married. And of course it was raining, so we were all worried that she was going to be all stressed, because it was an outdoor wedding. We were getting ready to leave, and this was the only wedding that my dad has been looking forward to going to all year, but he ended up getting called out to work, because there was massive flooding south of town the road needed to be cleared; that's his job. My mom and I felt so bad that he couldn't make it. To get to the wedding we had to travel on the River Road to Castle Vally. For those that don't know this, I HATE the river road. It scares me. Of course it was raining; the only cool thing on the river road was the waterfalls coming off the rocks from the rain. When we were getting to scary parts on the road, I was trying to not panic so I wouldn't scare my mom, but she could feel my tension, and so could Garth.
We got to the house where the wedding was. And it was lightly raining. We saw Zane and talked to him for a bit, and he showed us his sweet looking Sugar Bowl ring, that thing is huge!!!! It was cool to see it!
The wedding started and when Kemrey came out, the sun came out and it stopped raining and a double rainbow came out just right over Castle Rock in the background of the wedding. It was such an awesome wedding. One of the best ones that I've been to.
When we were on our way out to Castle Valley, we were sitting at the light and a truck went by that Garth recognized as Paul and Mariko's truck. So of course, I didn't have my phone with me. But when we got back from Castle Valley, I called up Mariko and we went and met with her and Paul at Denny's. What a small world!!
Today Garth and I went for a ride south of town where the floods happened, it was pretty cool to see where it was. Next to the highway you can tell where the water came through the desert and over the road, there was a lot of rain for this being a desert. It has been a fun weekend. I still do get kinda homesick. But it has been a great weekend rain or shine.

Garth Graduated!!!

I'm so proud of Garth for graduating. I has been a long year an a half in Logan. I'm so glad that he is done with school. Even though it was really rainy yesterday, it was nice. We had our families up for the weekend. It was nice to have them here. And hard for them to go. We've been up in Soda for a week now. But now it is final, no more school :).
I'm glad that Garth graduated. I'm so proud of him.

It has been a hard week. I was way happy to quit walmart, but sad to leave all the friends I made at work. Some of them surprised me at Sizzler for dinner. I never caught on when I saw some of them. I thought it was cool to see them there. When Amber and I were heading to go sit down, we were heading into the big room in the back. And when we walked in, I saw some more people. It made me happy, excited, nervous, and then I almost started to cry, but held back from crying.
It was hard on Wednesday when Amber was getting off. But then it was hard on Thursday. I was really emotional. It was really hard for me to stay. So I went and told all of my friends good-bye, and I did cry on their shoulders. I did feel really dumb. I do miss all of those friends I made at work.
Today, which is Saturday, was our moving day. We had help form his sister Kaykyn. And Paul and Mariko helped us take our last load up to our home. It was a fun day, till we had to get busy with the unpacking. I don't think that is not much fun. I look at all of the boxes and think "Why?" After you do get married, you do end up getting more things.
I hope to have everything unpacked and out of the way by next weekend, when we have family coming up. It is going to be tons of fun!!!

We bought our first home!

On Wednesday, we were on our way up to Soda Springs to sign on our house. And when we got to Smithfield, the truck started having problems. We had to turn back home to the get car, which almost made us late, but we made it on time, at least. We did one more walk through of our house. And finally signed our life away. I've never signed or initialed my name as much as we did that day. But it is well worth it. We are so excited to move up there and get away from Logan.

The 10th of this month was our 2nd anniversary. I'm truly blessed to be married to Garth. It has been a wonderful 2 years. I wouldn't change anything. We both did work on our anniversary, but we did go to dinner, to the Olive Garden, yummy! He gave me two roses, signifiying our two years of marriage.
We are in the process of buying a house up in Soda Springs, Idaho. It is a very nice house, and pretty big, for us, compared to where we are living now. It does have 5 bedrooms. But only three will be used, when we start having children, only 2. But we will see what we will do with the other rooms. We are way excited to move up there in about 6 weeks.

We went down to Ogden today for the Train Show. It was so much fun. I've never been to one before. We met up with Garths farther. I had so much fun watching his dad, it was kinda like a little kid in a candy store.
It was fun to see the history of the railroad at the Utah Railroad Museum. And The Browning Fire Arms Museum. That is where Garth looked like a kid in a candy store.

When I knew I was in love with Garth

We were hanging out one night, down in Cedar City. We went to someones house for a birthday party. One of my friends from Moab was living there. When we were there, she had to point out that I seemed very happy and that I was glowing. I've never been told that before, but it was pretty awesome, and I was kinda shocked too.
But I knew was in love with him when I first saw him. And at church, when ever he would sit right behind me, I was really nervous, and tried not to do anything stupid. So I sat up straight and tried not doing anything, but I was really nervous, but pulled through it. And where we are now! I love him with all of my heart.
From the first time I met him, I knew I did not want to live my life with out him. I never had that feeling before, but it felt so good and so right!! I'm so glad that we got married!

A nice, long weekend, well, kinda

Even though it was Valentines day last Saturday. And I did have to work, which was ok, but kinda funny, to me, to see the last minute shoppers, sorry to those that are last mintues shoppers.
But when I got home, Garth already had dinner ready for me, my favorite, alfredo, and it was as good as Olive Gardens, yummy!!!! I was surprised that he had made me dinner, that was so sweet of him.
On Monday, we went up to where we are going to live after Garth graduates. We went house hunting. I had so much fun. I want to go house hunting again, it was so much fun.
I love being able to spend time with Garth.

We went down to Cedar City this past weekend. It was fun, and nice to get away from Logan for the weekend. I went to farm after I went for a little run. Garth had me climb the fence to go where they were, which was behind a corral with a bull in it. The only way to get there was to go through the corral. I was very scared, because of bulls and how scary they are. We went to the other end of the corral, and I stood in there for awhile, still watching my back, because I didn't want to look back and see it right behind me. But I did go to the area where they were so I wouldn't be in there with the bull anymore.
But we had a fun weekend. We like going out of town and seeing our families. We haven't been to Cedar City since last May. It seems like the year had gone so fast, and it is weird that it is 2009.
Happy New Year to everyone. We wish everyone to happiness in their lives, and peace. Lets hope this year will be a good year.
